People v. RM (Queens Supreme Court, 2004)
 
Passenger of "gypsy" cab charged with loaded gun possession.  Prosecution called two police witnesses, ballistics expert and gypsy cab driver to testify at trial.  Defense called two witnesses.  Client did not testify.  Acquittal.
 
People v. AB  (New York Supreme Court, 2004)
 
Motion to have 19-year-old client, who was ordered deported,  re-sentenced as a "youthful offender."  Motion granted, paving the way for a successful appeal.  
 
People v. JJ  (New York Supreme Court, 2003)
 
Driver charged with felony drug possession inside his car in upper Manhattan.  Acquittal.

Sex Abuse, felony assault and child abuse charges. Sex abuse charge dismissed at the close of the prosecution case after motion by the defense. Trial proceeded. Acquittal on four counts.  Conviction only on endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

People v. XF  (New York Supreme Court, 2002)

Attempted murder, assault and weapon possession charges. Defense presented five witnesses and used an alibi and mistaken identification defense. Acquittal.

People v. M  (New York Supreme Court, 2002)

Felony sex abuse charges of an alleged five year child. Indictment dismissed in middle of trial. Client pled guilty to non-sex-related B misdemeanor. Sentenced to a conditional discharge with no jail time.

People v. JM  (New York Supreme Court, 2001)

Felony sex abuse charges, commonly known as the "Puerto Rican Day Parade" case. Two co-defendants also charged with riot, assault and sex abuse. Five week trial. Over forty witnesses testified for prosecution. Defense called three witnesses. Acquittal. Co-defendants were convicted.

People v. D  (New York Supreme Court, 2001)

Grand larceny charge in Times Square area.    Acquittal. Co-defendant was convicted.

People v. C (New York Criminal Court, 2001)

Criminal contempt case for violating Family Court order of protection. Bench trial. Acquittal.

People v. D (New York Supreme Court, 2000)

Felony assault charge. Bench trial. Acquitted of felony charge, convicted of misdemeanor drug possession.

People v. AH (New York Supreme Court, 2000)

Felony drug sale. Defense called four witnesses, including a "ghost" undercover police officer. Prosecution dismissed the indicment after close of all the evidence and before deliberations.
